Our Work
Nacogdoches County United Way (NCUW) benefits our community through the pooling of donations and resources. Large or small, all donations and resources count.
NCUW is working towards the Community Impact Model where resources are funneled towards the greatest needs in our community. This is a thorough process involving a community needs assessment and the establishment of goals and tracking mechanisms. Every dollar, hour, and in-kind donation makes a difference and under the Community Impact Model, donors and contributors will begin to see the impact as NCUW tracks results. More information will be posted here as NCUW progresses through this process.
NCUW partners with many agencies and programs through funding, advocacy, and volunteerism. Our community is very fortunate to have so many different ways to meet the needs of our residents and neighbors. NCUW is currently working on a Community Resource Guide. The guide will be posted on the Community Resources page soon. If you know of an agency, organization or program that assists residents of Nacogdoches or Shelby Counties and want to make sure it is included, please contact Kati Harris.
